6.0 Once the fireplace is
complete
See installation and user instructions for the Jøtul I 350 FL
(cat. no. 129543) for use and maintenance of the fireplace.
Minor imperfections
After the fireplace has been installed you should smooth over
any minor imperfections or unevenness in the concrete using
the included cement filler.
In order to achieve the best result the surround should
be rubbed down with fine sandpaper, smoothing any
unevenness or sharp edges prior to painting.
Apply one coat of paint.
Mix the powder (cement filler) with water to form a smooth
paste (with the same consistency as toothpaste).
Smooth any unevenness, allow to dry and rub down with fine
sandpaper.
If the imperfections are deep we recommend that you apply
the filler in applications in order to prevent the filler from
sinking.
Paint once more with the desired colour.
