SECONDARY SHAFT

INSTALLATION

NOTE:
Install the bearing collar nut 1 with its chamfered
side towards the secondary sheave.

NOTE:
While holding the secondary shaft with the second-
ary shaft slide & holder 2, tighten the drive
sprocket nut with the axle nut wrench (36 mm) 3.

NOTE:
Apply LOCTITE

1. Install:
• Bearing collar nut 1
• Secondary shaft 2
È Engine side
É Secondary sheave side
2. Install:
• Drive chain housing parts
Refer to "DRIVE CHAIN HOUSING".
3. Tighten:
• Drive sprocket nut 1
Drive sprocket nut:
90 Nm (9.0 m · kg, 65 ft · lb)
Axle nut wrench (36 mm):
90890-01422, YM-37132
Secondary shaft slide & holder:
90890-01492, YS-01492
4. Install:
• Collar 1

to the collar as shown.
