Controls and operation Front Panel MULTISTANDARD CB TRANSCEIVER SIGNAL 9 +30 ANL R.BEEP ECHO CH19 POWER M-550 POWER R.BEEP ECHO OFF/VOL PA/SQL RF GAIN MIC GAIN Analogue S/RF Meter The analogue S/RF Meter indicates the received signal strenght (from S0 to S9+30) and the transmitter RF output power. - Page 5 Controls and operation ECHO Indicator This green color LED indicator is lighted when the ECHO function is enabled. The ECHO function can be used only if the optional ECHO card (mod. ECHO-550P) has been installed. LED Display The large size two-digit LED display indicates the operating channel and the programmed frequency band code. CHANNEL Selector This knob selects the channel number, by one channel steps.
- Page 6 Controls and operation OFF/VOL (OFF / Volume) Control This knob switches the radio ON and OFF and it adjusts the volume control. If no signals are being received on the operating channel, it is suggested to open the SQUELCH and adjust the volume to the desired level while listening to the background noise.
- Page 7 Controls and operation Microphone PTT (Push-to-Talk) Key Transmitter key. Press the PTT key to transmit and release it to return to the receive mode. UP (Channel Selector) Key Each time this key is pressed, the channel number will move upward by one channel. LOCK (Keypad Lock) Key Press the LOCK key (24) to enable the LOCK function, in order lock the keypad and prevent entering unwanted commands.

Installation Installation Before installing the main unit in the vehicle, check and select the most convenient location, in order that the radio will be easy to reach and comfortable to operate, without disturbing or interfering with the vehicle drive. Use the supplied bracket and hardware to install the radio. -

- Page 14 Descrizione dei comandi e funzionamento Indicatore ECHO Questo indicatore LED luminoso di colore verde è acceso quando è abilitato il dispositivo Echo, attivabile solo dopo l' inserimento della scheda ECHO (mod. ECHO-550P) opzionale. LED Display Display a LED, indica il canale in uso e la banda selezionata. Selettore canali Selettore di tipo meccanico che permette la selezione dei canali a scatti di 1 canale per volta, in ordine crescente (manopola ruotata in senso orario) o decrescente (manopola ruotata in senso antiorario).
- Page 15 Descrizione dei comandi e funzionamento Manopola OFF/VOL (OFF / Volume) Manopola di accensione e spegnimento della radio. Permette la regolazione del volume di ascolto. In assenza di segnali sul canale in uso, si consiglia di aprire lo SQUELCH e quindi di regolare il volume al livello desiderato utilizzando come riferimento il rumore (fruscio) di fondo.

Premere per trasmettere e mantenere premuto durante la trasmissione e rilasciare per ritornare in modalità ricezione. Tasto UP (selettore dei canali) Tasto per la selezione dei canali in ordine crescente. Ad ogni pressione del tasto, il numero del canale viene incrementato di un canale per volta.
- Page 17 Installazione e collegamenti elettrici Installazione E' necessario verificare e localizzare sul veicolo la posizione più opportuna ove installare l' apparato, in modo che sia pratico e confortevole l' utilizzo dello stesso e che l' ubicazione del ricetrasmettitore non sia in nessun modo di ostacolo alla guida del veicolo.
