4.4.2 Rockinger coupling with hand lever or remote control (o)
CAUTION!
Incorrectly coupled trailers can cause accidents
Make sure the coupling is engaged securely before starting the truck.
The contro pin (52) must be flush with the control sleeve (51).
Hitching the trailer
Procedure
• Prevent the trailer from rolling away.
• Push the tow eye of the trailer into the
trailer coupling.
• Pull the hand lever (51) / remote control
(50) (o) up.

The bolt of the trailer coupling closes
automatically.
• Slowly reverse the truck until the
coupling engages.
• Push the hand lever (51) / remote control
(50) (o) down.
The trailer is now coupled.
Unhitching the trailer
Procedure
• Prevent the trailer from rolling away.
• Pull the hand lever (51) / remote control (50) (o) up.
• Drive the truck forward.
• Push the hand lever (51) / remote control (50) (o) down.
The trailer is now de-coupled.
