v. Landing
As soon as you realise that there is a decrease in motor performance
you should prepare for landing. Ensure that you have enough
reserve to correct a wrong landing attempt and to commence a new
approach.
An ideal landing should be performed as follows:
GB
• Fly with a tail wind some distance parallel to the runway.
• If a suitable height and distance to the runway is reached turn in a
180° curve in the direction of the runway; now against the wind-
Straighten the model to the runway and let it descend by reducing
motor speed.
w. After the flight and storing
When your model has landed successfully you should immediately
disconnect the LiPo battery. Then switch off the transmitter.
For information relating to the flying battery please refer to the
manufacturer's instructions and follow the recommended advice. If
you do not intend to use the radio control unit for several weeks, you
should remove the batteries from the transmitter.
The special plastic material (EPO) from which the model is mainly
constructed, is very sensitive to high temperatures.
Do not expose your flight-model to direct sunlight for a long time and
do not store it in a car which may be heated by the sun.
If you store your model at home make sure that no parts are jammed
or twisted, any distortion could become permanent after a period of
time and this will affect flight behaviour.
x. Repairs
During normal flight operation the model should withstand rough
handling, but it is inevitable that repairs will be necessary at some
stage. The plastic, from which the aeroplane is made, can be repaired
very easily, with a two part, 5 minute epoxy adhesive or instant
cement (cyan acrylic). During curing, the parts have to be aligned and
bonded against each other in order to achieve a complete repair.

• On approach to the landing point, lift the elevator slightly and
control speed with the power of the motor. Insufficient speed may
cause the plane to crash.
• Reduce the throttle a little and let the model glide.
• Just before touchdown, pull back the throttle stick fully and allow
the model to land.
• If the approach is too high increase motor speed and gain height
for a new approach.
Never fly the model if it has been damaged and you are unsure as to
the integrity of the airplane or a repair.
Several parts such as the propeller, electronic components, operating
rods, motor and support cannot be repaired. They must be replaced
with new items, which should be sourced through your local dealer.
