Configuring the TCP/IP settings
The TCP/IP Network (Ethernet) configuration page allows the configuration of the following
TCP/IP Settings:
• Server Name
• IP Source
• IP Address
• IP Mask
• Gateway IP
• DNS IP
The TCP/IP page will also display the MAC address of the IP Encoder.
Procedure 3-5 Configuring the TCP/IP settings
1 Ensure that the browser is displaying the Configuration page (if not refer to Procedure 3-3).
2 Select Edit from within the TCP/IP section.
The TCP/IP configuration page will be displayed, as shown in Figure 3-9.
3 The Server Name is the network name given to the IP Encoder on the TCP/IP network. The
default Server Name is the product name, e.g. ADIPE4-, followed by the last 6 digits of the
MAC address.
Enter a new Server Name by deleting the current name and typing a new Server Name.
4 Select the desired IP Source from the IP Source drop down list. The options are DHCP or
Manual. If DHCP is selected the remainder of the TCP/IP settings will be obtained from the
