If you have assigned a name to a phone number
in your Contacts, this name is displayed in the
name field when this party calls. The number
transmitted is overwritten with the name stored
in your Contacts.
In the remaining sections of this documentation
it is assumed that the sample parties are stored
in the local phone book Contacts.

Reject Call

Additionally you can refuse an incoming call. This call is
then stored in the list of "Missed Calls" (
you can initiate a callback at a later stage.
To reject a call, press the "Refuse" icon. The caller hears
an appropriate message.
The telephone reverts to idle mode.

Ringer

If you do not want to be disturbed by the ringing of an
incoming call, you can deactivate the ringer.
If your telephone is in idle mode, select the option Rin-
ger on or Ringer Off from the menu. You can also as-
sign the on/off function to a function key (
