To remove the carrier from the
base, squeeze the red release
handle at the back of the carrier.
Lift carrier away from the base.
To remove the base from vehicle,
squeeze the button on the FirmFit
arm and lift it up (see Step 2 and
3 on page 42) then unbuckle the
vehicle belt.
