Rotate the MENU dial to set the cursor (c) to the item
to be set, and press the MENU dial.
The cursor (c) changes to a flashing question mark
(?).
Example: "Freq" (upper) selected

Rotate the MENU dial to display the desired value.
Example: "CH2" selected

? Freq: CH2

To cancel the change
Press the CANCEL/CHARACTER button. The status
in step 3 is restored.

Press the MENU dial.
The question mark changes back to the cursor.
Set the other items in the same manner, and when
menu settings are completed, press the CANCEL/
CHARACTER button to exit.
The normal status display is restored.
When setting an alphanumeric item
Follow the steps below when setting alphanumerics (for
descramble code and CCU number).

Turn the MENU dial to set the cursor to the digit to be
set.
Example:

Press the MENU dial.
The cursor (x) changes to a flashing question mark
(?).
Example: the second digit selected

Rotate the MENU dial to display the desired value.
Example: "D" selected

To cancel the change
Press the CANCEL/CHARACTER button.
The status in step 1 is restored.

Press the MENU dial.
The question mark changes back to the cursor.
Set the other items in the same manner, and when menu
settings are completed, press the CANCEL/CHARACTER
to return to the main menu.
To release Menu mode, press the CANCEL/
CHARACTER button again.
The normal status display is restored.
Note
When changing the Descramble setting, the new setting
will first become valid when you press the MENU dial to
fix.
The settings of other items immediately become valid
when you change the display.
