c MENU dial
Use this dial for making menu settings, including receiving
frequency.
For details on menu operations, see “Menu Settings” on
page 18.
d CANCEL/CHARACTER button
Press the button to return to the upper menu layer in a
menu operation.
If you press this the button while the display is showing the
status indications, the system statuses will be displayed on
the monitor connected to the PIX connector and the
optional RM-B750 Remote Control Panel.
For details on operations, see “Menu Settings” on page 18
and “Character Displays on the Picture Monitor” on page
23.
e DC-line switch and indicator
The switch turns on or off the DC line to the entire system,
consisting of this unit, a video camera, a device connected
to the REMOTE connector.
The indicator lights when the power is turned on.
Notes
• The AC power switch is provided on the power unit
behind the front cover. If you set the AC power switch to
OFF, the unit does not operate on AC power even if
power is turned on with the DC-line switch on the front
panel.
For the AC power switch, see page 15.
• When changing the power supply from AC to DC, or
vice versa, first set both the AC power switch and the
DC-line switch to their OFF positions.
f INTERCOM (intercom) connector (XLR 5-pin)
Connect a headset.
Internal switch settings may be required for the
microphone of the headset.
For the settings, see “Internal Switches” on page 15.
To use a headset with a plug other than an XLR 5-pin plug,
consult a Sony service or sales representative.
g MIC (microphone) switch
To turn on or off the headset microphone.
