In a 3- or more-channel diversity reception system,
connect with the OUTPUT connector of the WLL-RX50
or the STREAM OUT connector of another WLL-RX55.
c OUTPUT connectors
SDI/ASI-1, SDI/ASI-2, SDI/ASI-3 (serial digital video
signal output 1, 2, 3) connectors (BNC type)
To supply the video signals from the video camera in serial
digital video format. You can set so that the connectors
output DVB-ASI signals with a menu operation.
The signal of the built-in signal generator can also be
selected for output only in serial digital video format.
VIDEO-1, VIDEO-2, VIDEO-3 (analog video signal
output 1, 2, 3) connectors (BNC type)
To supply the video signals from the video camera in
analog video format.
PIX (picture monitor output) connector (BNC type)
To supply the video signals for a picture monitor. The
signal output from the connector is selected from the
device connected to the REMOTE connector.
WF (waveform monitor output) connector (BNC type)
To supply the video signals for a waveform monitor. The
signal output from the connector is selected from the
device connected to the REMOTE connector.
d CAMERA CONTROL connector (XLR 3-pin)
To output control signals, such as the tally signal, intercom
signal, and camera control signals. By connecting a UHF
synthesized transmitter, such as WRT-series transmitter,
these signals can be transmitted to the camera.
The recommended attenuator setting for using a UHF
transmitter, such as WRT-series transmitter, is –21 dB.
e DC OUT connector (4-pin)
To supply operating power (max. 200 mA) for a UHF
synthesized transmitter, such as WRT-series transmitter.
f REMOTE (remote) connector (8-pin)
Connect a remote controller, such as RCP-700-series
remote control panel, using a CCA-5 cable.
g INTERCOM (intercom)/TALLY/PGM (program
audio) connector (D-sub 25-pin)
To supply and accept intercom, tally, and program audio
signals. Connect to the corresponding connector on the
intercom system.

h MIC REMOTE (microphone remote control)
connector (D-sub 15-pin)
Connect an external control unit such as an audio mixer.
You can set the microphone input level of the video camera
to –60, –50, –40, –30, or –20 dB from the connected unit.
Set the microphone volume to the level suitable for
shooting conditions. You can also set the microphone input
level with a menu.
i REFERENCE connectors (BNC type)
To accept a reference signal (black burst signal) for
external synchronization. When the reference signal is not
sent to the next unit, terminate the unused connector with
75 ohms.
j AUDIO OUTPUT connectors (XLR 3-pin)
To supply the microphone signals from the video camera.
k WF MODE (waveform monitor mode output)
connector (4-pin)
Connect to the corresponding connector of a waveform
monitor to monitor the signals in sequential mode.
l AC IN (AC power input) connector
Connect to an AC power source using an appropriate
optional AC power cord.
The power cord can be secured to the receiver unit using an
optional plug holder.
Note
Even if you set the DC-line switch on the front panel to
OFF, power is supplied to the standby circuit as long as the
AC power cord is connected.
m DC IN (DC power input) connector (4-pin)
Connect to a DC power source (10.5 to 17 V).
When both AC power and DC power are being supplied,
AC power has priority.
n Ventilation opening
Opening for internal fan. Do not block it.
