The Patch tab allows you to enable a patch confirmation tone. For more
information regarding patch codes, see the Kodak publication A-61599,
Patch Code Information for Kodak Document Scanners for complete
information.
Patch Confirmation Tone — the confirmation tone may be used to
signal that a patch has been recognized by the scanner. The default is
no confirmation tone.
