    INSTALLATION PLEASE READ ENTIRE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE PROCEEDING Calculation before Installation To calculate the length of the installation, please refer to Table 1. (All calculation is measure in inches.) TABLE 1 A = Height of Floor to Ceiling B = Height of Floor to Counter Top (Standard: 36”) C = Preferred Height of Counter Top to Hood Bottom (Recommended...
  • Page 7 Peel protective film off the duct cover and the hood (if any). Place rubber seal on hood venting area as shown in Figure 3. Use eight (4x20 mm) screws (provided) to attach plastic damper and rubber seal to hood venting area. Refer to Figure 4.
  • Page 8 Align hood to the hood-mounting bracket on the wall and hook hood into place as shown in Figure 6 & 7. CAUTION: MAKE SURE THE HOOD IS SECURE BEFORE RELEASING. For safety purposes, install the safety bracket (provided) with one screw (not provided) to the wall as shown in Figure 8.

    OPERATING INSTRUCTION This KOBE hood is equipped with five electronic controls with LED screen, one powerful centrifugal squirrel cage with stainless steel filter, two bright 12-volt 20-watt halogen lights, and one oil container. The five control buttons are Power Control (On/Off), Auto Control, Speed Control (Low & High Speed), Light Control and Timer Control.
  • Page 11 Speed Control Press once for High speed to start. Output Display: Press twice for Low speed to start. Output Display: Light Control Press Light Control to turn on the two halogen lights. Timer Control Press Timer Control to start timer. When Timer Control is pressed, fan will automatically shut off after set time.

    MAINTENANCE CAUTION: NEVER PUT YOUR HAND INTO THE AREA HOUSING THE FAN WHILE THE FAN IS OPERATING. For the optimal level of operation, clean the range hood surface, stainless steel filter, and oil container regularly. To Clean Hood Surface CAUTION: NEVER USE ABRASIVE CLEANERS, PADS, OR CLOTHS. Regular care will help preserve its fine appearance.
  • Page 13 To Replace Light Bulb CAUTION: HALOGEN LIGHT UNIT MAY BE HOT! WAIT UNTIL UNIT IS COOL. 1) Make sure all control switches are off, and range hood is unplugged. 2) Use a flat head screwdriver to pop out the protective covering as shown in Figure 13. 3) Gently pull out the defective light bulb and discard.
