    Modules The DS3/ES/STS-1 to Fiber Converter Module may be installed in any 1-Slot Desktop Chassis and rackmount High Density Chassis Series from Black Box, and requires one slot. To install a module, remove any blank brackets covering the slots where the module is to be installed. Slide the module into the chassis, via the card guides, until the module is seated securely in the connector.

    Loopback DS3, E3 and STS-1 Selection Lookback is a diagnostic tool that enables the user to test the integrity of the line This feature selects the data rate at which the module will operate, either DS3, by allowing the data to be looped back. The loopback setting can be either Fiber E3 or STS-1.
