Quick Setup

This chapter describes the various menus used to configure and monitor the Router, including how to change IP
settings and DHCP server setup.
Note: When subscribing to a broadband service, you should be aware of the method by which you are connected
to the Internet. Your physical WAN device can be Ethernet, DSL, or both. For example, your ISP should inform you
whether you are connected to the Internet by using a static or dynamic IP address, or the protocols, such as PPPOA
or PPPoE, which you use to communicate over the Internet.
Quick Setup enables fast and accurate configuration of your Internet connection and other important parameters.
The following sections describe these various configuration parameters.
