Unlike the F clock thermostat, the M clock
thermostat with analogue output triggers
the correction of the boiler water tem
perature depending on the deviation of
the room temperature from the preset de
sired value.
This provides greater precision in the
control of the room temperature and re
sults in fewer burner switching oper
ations.
Room thermostat with selectable day and
week program.
The time, day and standard switching
times are preset in the factory (individ
ually programmable); up to four activa
tion periods can be selected per day.
The M clock thermostat is mounted on
the inside wall of the main living room
opposite the radiators, but not in shelves,
alcoves or immediately next to doors or
sources of heat (e.g. in direct sunlight,
next to a fireplace, TV set etc.).
Operation independent of the mains
power supply (two 1.5V miniature bat
teries required, life approx. 2 years).

A maximum of 2 adaptors can be con
nected.
One of the following functions can be im
plemented with an adaptor:
H Connection of an external safety sole
noid valve (LPG).
H Interlocking of external exhaust air
units.
An interlock circuit must be used if an
exhaust air unit (e.g. extractor hood, ex
tractor fan etc.) is installed in the rooms
which form part of the interconnected
combustion air supply for the Vitodens
100 boiler.
H Connection of a heating circuit pump
(staged), only with gas central heating
boilers.
H Connection of a central fault indicator.
