The time, day and standard switching
times are preset in the factory (individ
ually programmable); up to four activa
tion periods can be selected per day.
The F clock thermostat is mounted on the
inside wall of the main living room oppo
site the radiators, but not in shelves, al
coves or immediately next to doors or
sources of heat (e.g. in direct sunlight,
next to a fireplace, TV set etc.).

power supply (two 1.5V miniature bat

Radio data receiver
Transmitter module
For transmitting the control information
by radio.
The radio data receiver is arranged close
to the control unit; the transmitter mod
ule is inserted in the F clock thermostat
(minimum distance between radio data
receiver and clock thermostat 1.5 metres).
The radio data transmission module must
not be mounted in electrical protection
zones 0 to 3. The radio data transmission
facility allows the clock thermostat to be
installed independently and permits
simple, inexpensive installation as there
is no need for the cable to the F clock
thermostat. Transmission is possible up
to a range of two ceilings. Up to 10 radio
data transmission systems (transmitter
module and radio data receiver) can be
used simultaneously.
The transmission range may be restricted
by metallic materials (e.g. reinforced con
crete, steel doors).
Transmission faults may be caused by
sources of electromagnetic interference
(e.g. high-voltage lines, domestic ap
pliances).
