5. Installing the Ink Cartridges

REMOVE DUMMY CRT.

By following the on-screen instructions, clean the print heads in the order of slots 3
and 4, slots 5 and 6, and slots 7 and 8.
By following the on-screen instructions, remove and insert the SOL INK cleaning cartridges and dummy
cartridges. If a cartridge is inserted into a wrong slot, filling with ink will fail.

Insert the ink cartridge for each color.


Pull out the dummy cartridges from slot 3 and 4.
Press
Remove and insert the cartridge from and into the slot for
which the number is flashing.
If the cartridge is removed correctly, the number stops flashing.
REMOVE SOLCL-LIQUID
If the cartridge is inserted correctly, the number starts lighting.

Before you insert the ink cartridge for each
color, gently shake the cartridge.
