5. Comand Timeout: On. Command Timeout sets the engine timeout
wait for a controller response before it faults the controller with a
timeout error. An On setting set the response to 10 seconds. If the
timeout is set to Off then the print engine will wait indefinitely for a
response; it should be set to On.
a.
Press CLEAN PRINT HEAD to toggle between Command
Timeout: On and Command Timeout: Off.
b. Press TEST PRINT to select, enable and store the displayed
setting. The printer then exits to the next submenu item.

Copy count: XXXXXX. Copy count lets you check and reset the print
engine's print count.
a. Press CLEAN PRINT HEAD to reset the print count to zero.
b. Press TEST PRINT to proceed to the next submenu item.

Head drive: X. A particularly shaped wave form is used to drive the
printhead piezo-crystals to eject a drop of ink. For printers located
above 4500 feet (1230 m) and experiencing ink-jet dropout, you can
select an alternate waveform that compensates for high altitude
atmospheric effects on ink-jet.
a. Press CLEAN PRINT HEAD to toggle between Head Drive: 1
(low altitude) and Head Drive: 2 (high altitude).
b. Press TEST PRINT to select, enable and store the displayed
setting. The printer then exits to the next submenu item.
8. NVRam Value. NVRAM values lets you view the hex-encoded
parameters and data stored in NVRAM to ensure it appears correct
and has not been corrupted. You cannot change the stored values
through this menu item.
a. Press TEST PRINT to scroll though the list of stored data and
parameters. The list shows the NVRAM's address cells and the
data contents of each:
NVRam Value XX YYYY
where XX designates the contents of address YYYY (00 through 0F).
(The address and data are hexadecimally encoded.)
For some of the individual addresses, the menu display shows the
ORed sum of its bit assignments. This memory map outlines the
contents of NVRAM.
After scrolling through the list, the printer exits to the next
submenu item.
9. Press TEST PRINT to return to the top of NVRam Value Menu.
