The phone switches off after
approx. 5 seconds.
If you wish to leave the phone
switched off for several weeks,
please remove the battery by dis-
connecting the connection leads.
See page 20.
The data stored in the phone
book and text message memory
on the SIM card will not be lost
when you do this. Time and date
will have to be set again.
As soon as the connection is
made, the handset symbol on
the top right on the housing
stays green and the call dura-
tion is displayed.
This function is useful when
you are unable or prefer not to
take a call.
