ing the "Hang up" key.
14.8 Saving your phone book onto or from the SIM
card
All the phone numbers and text messages which you save are
only stored on your SIM card. It is not possible either to copy
the data onto the phone's memory or to copy the data using this
phone.
14.9 Programming your phone to divert or forward
calls
It is not possible to programme or change call diversions via a
menu function on the mobile. Your mobile phone network pro-
vider provides these functions via specific key combinations –
they or your dealer will be able to advise you about this. Your
mobile phone supports these functions. (See GSM codes on
page 144)
14.10 Restoring the factory settings (Reset)
If all of sudden your mobile phone fails to respond, you can re-
set the electronics, either by pressing the small round button on
the left above the SIM card holder for two seconds or by remov-
ing the connection leads from the battery for 10 seconds.
You can restore the factory settings (for Settings) by entering
the number 9999 as your own phone number (see Chapter
11.6.5 Page 99). The data stored in the phone book and text
message memory on the SIM card will not be lost when you do
this.
14.11 Calling up remaining credit / call time on a
top-up card
Using specific key combinations, you can call up the remaining
credit units and call time left on your top-up card. Your mobile
phone supports these functions. Your dealer or network opera-
