    DV-38 System Installation Manual INTRODUCTION This manual provides detailed procedures to install your new ARISTEL DV-38 Digital Key Telephone System. Please read this entire section before proceeding with the actual installation. The National Electrical Code (NEC) requires the local telephone company (Telecom) to provide the primary protection devices for the telephone lines terminating at the customer’s site.

    DV-38 System Installation Manual ENVIROMENTAL REQUIREMENT The Key System Unit (KSU) should be installed at a clean, dry and secure location accessible only by authorized personnel. The location must have adequate ventilation and a temperature range between 0 ~ 45 C with a 10 ~ 90% non-condensing relative humidity.

Compare the equipment received against equipment ordered to ensure that ALL components have been received. The following materials are required (not provided) for installation: Exterior grade plywood back board for the KSU.
