These are items for performing maintenance inspection of the camera. This menu is used for updating the firmware version of the camera.

Chapter 6 Menu Operations — Menu list
Displays the SD memory card status. The format condition, available space, etc. can be checked.
Formats an SD memory card.
Loads/saves/initializes user files on the camera memory.
[LOAD]: Loads user files.
[SAVE]: Saves user files.
[INITIALIZE]: Restores user files to the factory settings.
Selects whether to light the access LED of the P2 card.
[ON], [OFF]
f Factory setting: [ON]
Sets the tally lamp display in the viewfinder.
[RED]: Illuminates the red tally lamp on the viewfinder during recording with the camera. The front tally
lamp and the back and rear tally lamps on the body are also illuminated.
[GREEN]: Illuminates the green tally lamp in the viewfinder during recording with the camera. The front
tally lamp or the tally lamps on the body are not illuminated
[CHAR]: During recording with the camera, the tally lamp in the viewfinder is not illuminated and the
recording status is displayed only with text on the screen. No tally lamps are illuminated.
f Factory setting: [RED]
Sets the built-in calendar (date and time).
For GMT, set using 30 minute intervals from −12:00 to +13:00 (however, +12:45 is possible). After setting
the time, when changing the setting value for [TIME ZONE], the displayed and registered times switch to
the time with the time difference.
When in HD (1080i, 720P) mode, selects the output signal of phase to be locked to the signal input to the
<GENLOCK IN> terminal.
[HD SDI]: Locks the HD SDI output signal to genlock input.
[COMPOSITE]: Locks the down-converted composite output signals (signal from the <MON OUT>
terminal and 480i, 576i signals from the <SDI OUT/IN (OP)>terminal) to genlock input.
f Factory setting: [HD SDI]
Adjusts the horizontal phase when the phase is to be locked to the signal input to the <GENLOCK IN>
terminal.
[−512]...[512]

Selects the position to move when the <FF/)>/<%/REW> button is pressed while playback is paused.
[CLIP]: Top of the clip
[CLIP&TEXT MEMO]: Top of the clip and text memo location
f Factory setting: [CLIP]
Restores the whole setting menu including all scene files (1 to 6) and user files to the factory settings.
Performs an update of the camera firmware. (Enabled only when there is a dedicated update file on the SD
memory card.)
Only when this item is set to [ON], sets the iris to F2.8. (Adjusts so that it becomes F2.8 at the lens.)
[ON], [OFF]
f Factory setting: [OFF]
Only when this item is set to [ON], sets the iris to F16. (Adjusts so that it becomes F16 at the lens.)
[ON], [OFF]
f Factory setting: [OFF]
Adjusts the lens flange back.
This can be adjusted only when an auto-focus compatible lens is attached.
Sets the white shading data.
[L1:LENS1], [L2:LENS2], [L3:LENS3], [OFF]
f Factory setting: [OFF]
Edits the title of the white shading data. (Up to six characters)
Sets the white shading compensation parameter for the data selected in [SHADING SELECT]. (This
cannot be set if [OFF] is selected).
Enables/disables the chromatic aberration compensation function (CAC).
[ON]: Compensates for chromatic aberration.
[OFF]: Does not compensate for chromatic aberration.
f Factory setting: [ON]
Performs such operations as viewing the list of CAC stored in the camera internal memory and deleting
files of the numbers selected from the list of CAC.
