User Friendly Platen Behavior for Non-standard Originals
Our new behavior from the platen means you can override auto size detection for single page platen

originals and "just scan it" without the machine reporting it is unable to determine original size. This
reduces the hassle factor for platen scanning.
Productivity
Unified Address Book with Favorites
Walkup users and administrators can establish and add to on the fly a standard address book available
•
from the email and fax buttons. This provides users with simple, consistent address book functionality
across a fleet and it enables a default public address book at the device. Add this with a new favorite's
button and users can quickly select frequently used contacts. This address book can be copied and sent
to other ConnectKey enabled devices, as well as copying and using address books from other
competitive devices.
Remote Control Panel
This feature provides the ability to remotely view and operate the device's user interface- similar to
•
how help desks remote into a user's PC. You can control the machine remotely in the same way as if
you were standing next to it. This allows for remote device administration and troubleshooting, as well
as simple sharing of the user interface for training users.
