Selecting the Text Entry Mode

Text entry modes make it easy for you to enter names,
numbers, and messages.
In the text entry screen, select the Menu button > Entry
Mode, and then select one of the following modes:
• Primary – for entering alphanumeric characters
(lowercase, uppercase, and title case)
• Numeric – for entering numbers only
• Symbol – for entering symbols only
In the text entry screen, you can press 0 key repeatedly to
change between lowercase, uppercase, and title case.
You can also press # key repeatedly to change between
letters, numbers, or symbols.

Icons

In the text entry screen, icons tell you which text entry mode
and method you are using. A character counter icon indicates
the number of entered characters.
Primary Icons
Numeric Icon
No capitals
Capitalise next letter only
All capitals
Enter numbers.
