Water Heater (LX Models Only)

• Your boat may be equipped with a water
heater. The water heater is located on the
aft port side of the bilge.
• The water heater is connected to the AC
power system, therefore, you must verify
that the water heater breaker on the AC
panel is turned ON before water will be
heated. (SEE CAUTION BELOW)
• Read the manufacturer's instruction man-
ual in your boat's owner's packet and
observe the following warnings:
HOT HAZARD! Water heated by the water heater can reach temperatures high enough
to scald the skin.
WATER HEATER DAMAGE HAZARDS!
• DO NOT energize the AC water heater electrical circuit until the heater is completely filled
with water. Even momentary operation in a dry tank will damage the heating elements. War-
ranty replacements will not be made on elements or tank damaged in this manner. The tank
is full if water flows from the tap when the hot water is turned on in the galley.
• The water heater should be drained and the power turned OFF when the possibility of
freezing exists.
