Before performing the following procedures, follow the safety

To avoid electrostatic discharge, ground yourself by using a wrist
grounding strap or by periodically touching a connector on the back panel of the
computer.
1 Follow the procedures in "Before You Begin" on page 9.
2 Remove the palm rest (see "Palm Rest" on page 49).
3 Remove the card with internal bluetooth

4 Remove the consumer infrared board (see "Removing the Consumer
Infrared Board" on page 71).
5 Remove the two screws that secure the power management controller to
the computer base.
