5 Remove the battery from the compartment on the system board by using a
scribe or small screwdriver to lift one side of the battery at the notch in the
plastic connector, being careful not to break the plastic.
6 Grasp the battery and pull it out of the battery compartment.
7 To install the coin-cell battery:
Insert the edge of the coin-cell battery into the plastic battery

compartment under the lip on the compartment.
Carefully press the coin-cell battery into the compartment, being

careful not to break the plastic.
8 Replace the keyboard (see "Replacing the Keyboard" on page 28).
9 Replace the hinge cover (see "Replacing the Hinge Cover" on page 26).
