flow, become clogged with time,
and may cause leaksif repair is

>. Tighten nuts by hand to prevent
cross threading. Finish tightening
nutswith pliers and wrenches. DO
NOT overtighten°
> Wait 24 hours before plating
refrigerator intofinal position to
check and correct any water leaks.
MATERIALS NEEDED
>. ¼"outer diameter ftexible copper
tubing
_-- Brass compression nut and sleeve for
¼"outer diameter copper tubing
>. Shut-off valve (requires a Y+" h ole to
be drilled intowater supply before
valve attachment)
._. Adjustable :wrench
_- '/+"hex nut driver
NOTE: Add 8' to tubing length needed to
reach water supply for creation of
service loop
1 Create service loopwith tubing using
care to avoid kinks in tubing,
2 Remove plastic cap from watervalve
inlet port+

3 Place brass nut (A) and sleeve (B) on
copper tube end as illustrated
4, Placeend of copper'tubinginto water
valveinlet port,.Shapetubing slightly-
DO NOT KINK - so that tubing feeds
straight intoinlet port.
5, Slide brass r_utover sleeve and
screw nut intoinlet port Tighten nut
with wrench,,

IMPORTANT:DO NOT overtighten,
Cross threading may OCOU_r,
6, Pull on tubing to confirm connection
is secure. Connect tubing to frame
with water tubing clamp (C) and turn
on water supply. Checkfor leaks and
correct, if present.

7 Monitor waterconnectionfor 24
hours Correct leaks,if necessary.
