This option lets you set the device configuration.

This feature lets you set the PCI Express power-saving configuration.

Parallel/Printer
Some models are equipped with Parallel/Printer tab. This tab lets you set
the Parallel Port Mode. Use the Windows Device Manager to make settings
for the Parallel port.

Parallel Port Mode

The options in this tab are ECP and Standard Bi-directional.

Enables Built-in LAN functions (Default).
Disables Built-in LAN functions.
BIOS sets all devices.
Operating system sets devices that it can control
(Default).
Enables power-saving when the PCI Express
device is not being used.
Disables power-saving for performance.
Power-saving is enabled when the battery power
supply is used and the PCI Express device is not
being used (Default).
Sets the port type to Extended Capabilities Port
(ECP). For most printers, the port should be set
to ECP (Default).
This setting should be used with some other
parallel devices.
