Using the Hand Mixer
WARNING: Always switch OFF the appliance, wait until the motor stops completely and
unplug the appliance before lifting the processing tools out of the food, assembling/disas-

Before connecting the appliance to the mains power supply, always ensure that the appli-
ance is assembled correctly, according to the following instructions. Do not touch the pro-
cessing tools with your hands or any objects (i.e. hair, clothes, cooking utensils), when they
are mounted and the appliance is connected to the mains power supply. Before switching
ON, immerse the processing tools in the food, to avoid excessive splashing and dripping of
liquids onto the appliance.
CAUTION: Do not use any fragile vessels with the appliance (i.e. fine dinking glasses or
china). It is recommended to use suitable high-sided, medium-sized stainless steal or plastic
vessels. During operation, prevent the processing tools from touching the interior walls of the
vessel.
1. Prepare your food in a sufficiently large and high-sided vessel.
2. Ensure, that the appliance is switched OFF (speed control position '0') and unplugged.
3. Select the suitable pair of processing tools: dough hooks or whisks (see Processing Tools
and Eject Button).
4. Insert the shafts of the processing tools in the tool holes in the bottom of the motor hou-
sing, twisting slightly until they engage.
Each processing tool is assigned only to one of the two tool holes in the bottom of the motor
