BEFORE FIRST USE

1. Unpack the appliance and all accessories carefully. Check that no parts are
damaged or missing (see: 'Knowing Your Design Smoothie Maker Mix & Go').
Carefully remove all shipping materials and promotional materials. However, do
not remove the model label at the bottom of the motor base.
WARNING
immerse the motor base or power cord in water or other liquids or spill any liquids
on the motor base or power cord. Do not use any abrasive cleaners for cleaning
to avoid damage to the surfaces. Do not place the motor base, power cord or
blade assembly in an automatic dishwasher.
2. Before first use and after a longer period of storage, clean the appliance and
all its parts. Wash the mixing jar, lids and blade assembly in warm dishwater.
3. Wipe the exterior of the motor base via a soft, damp cloth. Thereafter, dry the
appliance and all parts thoroughly (see: 'Care and Cleaning').
IMPORTANT - Only the mixing jar may be cleaned in an automatic dishwasher.

OPERATION

appliance is using sharp blades in high speed rotation for cutting food. Improper
use or misuse may cause severe injuries and damage. Do not touch the blades.
Only hold the blade assembly at its base.
Via the appliance, only process food that is fit for consumption.
If there are any liquids running out during operation, immediately unplug the appli-
ance and remove the mixing jar from the motor base (see: 'Solving Problems').
Do not operate the appliance with the mixing jar empty to avoid overheating.
