Check to see if shut-off valve (if installed) is turned on. Check to see if the overfill protector moves up and down freely. Press down to release. It is normal for the dishwasher to run longer while heating water. Refer to the "Water temperature tips" section, page 12. - Page 21 Discard lumpy detergent. Home water pressure should be 20 to 120 psi (138-828 kPa) for proper dishwasher fill. A booster pump on the water supply may be necessary if pressure is too low.
