REMOVING THE CONTROL PANEL

WARNING
Turn off the electrical power circuit to the
oven at the main junction box before ser-
vicing this unit.
CAUTION
When you work on the oven, be careful
when handling the sheet metal parts. There
are sharp edges present and you can cut
yourself if you are not careful.
1.
Turn off the electrical power to the oven.
2.
Pull the oven out of its mounting location
just far enough to access the front and rear
plenum covers.
3.
Remove the plenum front and rear cov-
ers (see Figure 14).

Refer to Figure 15 on the next page for the
following steps:

Open the upper oven door.
5.
Remove the bottom screw from the con-
trol panel.
6.
Remove the mounting screw from the
detent pin clip and unhook the clip from
the detent pin (see inset 1).
7.
Turn the latch 90˚ so that the sides align
with the cutout in the latch catch (see in-
set 2).
8.
Rotate the bottom of the control panel as-
sembly out and unhook the detent pins
from the pivot bracket slots (see inset 1).
9.
Unplug the orange and yellow 9-wire con-
nectors from the relay board at P10 and
P11.
10. Unplug connectors P2 and P6 from the
display head.
