1. create a new folder on PC - call it '4D '.
2. create administrative user on PC - to keep things simple call the user '4D ' and the password '4D '.
3. share the folder : properties -> sharing -> advanced sharing -> make sure 'share this folder' is
checked and click permissions -> make sure everybody has full control.
Then on your Optimuss OS box.
1. Select Mount Manager and press OK.
2. Select Add new network mount point and press OK.
3. Active –> enable.
4. local share name - nas (you can call it anything you like).
5. mount type - CIFS share.
6. server IP - (enter PC IP here).
7. server share - /4D (make sure you include the /).
8. username – 4D.
password – 4D.
9. Press OK.

discovered, enable the Samba server on each of them.
4. Upon completion of the network scan, you will be able to see all available devices, like in this
screenshot.
5. Press OK to select a media on the device.
6. If you are using password, you have to configure it to enter.
Optimuss OS can find other devices on the
network, enter them and view multimedia content
sharing.
1. Select Network Browser and press OK.
2. Your Optimuss OS will scan your Local Area
Network and discover any PC or Optimuss OS
available.
