Drain - Issues
No drain water

Possible Causes
Clogged brine restricter
Misalignment of hole in drain
saddle.
Black 1/4" & 3/8" tubing
misinstalled or backwards
Drain saddle not allowing water
to drain into trap properly
Drain assembly installed on bad
or non-preferred part of your sink
drain
Hole or drain tube is blocked or
obstructed with debris
Excessive slack in drain tubing
High feedwater pressure
Air trappped in system echos the
sound of water flow
Membrane breached seals, worn
Same issues with Low Water
Quality Troubleshooting
High or greater water usage
Possible Causes
Lamp damaged, lamp cord has not
been connected,
Transformer is not plugged in or
connected to wrong type of outlet
Lamp has burned out

Pump cord not been connected

Solution
Replace brine restricter
Realign drain saddle, check for open drain hole
Follow proper instructions for Air Gap installation and
connections
Check hole for proper draining and proper drain
saddle installation
Check for proper drain location
Check hole for proper draining and proper drain
saddle installation
Check for proper drain location
Remove debris or restriction
Cut off excess drain tubing
Incoming pressure should not exceed 65 psi
Follow the warning in the middle of page 4.2-16 and
follow the "Burping" Procedure to remove air in the
lines
Re-align membrane or replace worn membrane
Follow troubleshooting for low water quality and fast
filling tank, this creates greater drain water flow.
Tank needs to fill more often due to greater usage
Solution
•Connect lamp cord and/or Plug in transformer.
•Make sure unit plugged into an unswtiched electrical
outlet. Check GFI reset. Surge suppression is highly
recommended
•Replace UV Lamp
•Replace UV Transformer
•Connect pump cord and/or Plug in transformer.
•Make sure unit plugged into an unswtiched electrical
outlet. Check GFI reset. Surge suppression is highly
recommended
•Replace Transformer
•Replace Pump
