Fine Tuning Stretch Stitches
To select the stretch stitches, set the stitch length
dial at S.S.
If the stretch stitches are uneven when you sew
on a particular fabric, correct them by turning the stitch
length dial.
If the stitches are drawn out, correct them by setting the
dial to the "–" side.
If the stitches are compressed, correct them by setting
the dial to the "+" side.

Stitch Width Dial

Turn the stitch width dial until stitch width number is
Aligned with setting mark.
The higher the number, the wider the stitch

CAUTION:
Do not turn the stitch width dial while the needle is in the
fabric, otherwise the needle may bend or break.
Do not set the stitch width less than 5 when using foot C;
the needle may hit the foot causing the needle to bend
tor break.

Variable needle position

The needle drop position of the straight stitch (1, 12 on
model 2800 and 1, 10 on model 2600) can be moved
between the center (5) and left (0) with thw stitch width
dial.
