Start the vacuum Start the brush To adjust the brush on carpet, first turn the knob to the LEFT to LOWER the brush until the light comes on. Then turn the knob to the RIGHT to RAISE the brush until the light just turns off. The machine will help propel itself (on carpet) when the brush is properly adjusted. MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE MAINTENANCE ITEM WEEKLY MONTHLY YEARLY Clean the Brush Clean the Pick-Up Tool Check the Power Cord Clean the Spray Nozzle Lubricate the Machine Check the Vacuum Motor Airways *Check the Vacuum Motor Brushes *Have Nilfisk check the carbon motor brushes once a year or after 500 operating hours. STORING THE MACHINE Store the machine indoors in a clean, dry place. -

LUBRICATION Once a month, wipe the solution valve with a clean cloth. Then use a spray silicone lubricant on all pivot points associated with the valve assembly, especially the valve plunger. Once a month, lubricate the pivot points of the handle and the wheel axles. Wipe off any excess to avoid staining floor surfaces. Valve Plunger The Solution Valve Assembly is located on the bottom of the machine. -
