Check the I/O module setup as follows:

4.2 LEDs

All rear-mounted modules are designed to be maintained by trained technicians.

4.2.1 Power Supply and Cooling Module LEDs

Power Supply and Cooling modules have an associated status LED incorporated in each module.
Green LEDs are always used for good or positive indication, Amber LEDs indicate there is a critical fault
present within the module.

4.2.2 ESI/Ops Pane LEDs

The ESI/Ops Panel displays the aggregated status of all the modules. The ESI/Ops Panel LEDs are

For details on how to remove and replace a module see Section 4.7.
Warning
Whenever replacing a module NEVER leave an EMPTY space in the rear of the enclosure, obtain
a replacement before removing the problem part.

– Check that the I/O module has been correctly installed and all external links and cables are
securely fitted.
– Check that the maximum cable length (3m or 10m) has not been exceeded.
– Check that the correct termination is fitted on all unused ports.
– Check that different IDs have been selected for all devices on a channel.
