2.6 I/O Module Configuration

2.6.1 Ultra-320 SCSI Internal Channel Configurations

Typical Ultra-320 SCSI Channel configurations of the RS-0800-LVD system are shown in Figure 2–4 and
Figure 2–5. The system has 2 channels of 4 drives, each device bay accepts a 3.5" Ultra-320 compatible
disk drive with 80 pin SCA-2 connector with burst data transfer speeds of 320MB/s.
Each channel is routed from one of the VHDCI (0.8mm pitch) SCSI connectors on one of the rear I/O
modules to one on the other module.
