Basic Settings

On the Wi-Fi / Basic settings page, you can configure basic parameters of the device's WLAN.

When you have configured the parameters, click the Change button.

If the checkbox is selected, other users cannot see your Wi-Fi
network. (It is recommended not to select this checkbox in order to
simplify initial configuration of your WLAN.)
A name for the WLAN. By default, the value DIR-620 is specified.
It is recommended to specify another name for the network upon
initial configuration (use digits and Latin characters).
The country you are in. Select a value from the drop-down list.
The wireless channel number. When the auto value is selected, the
router itself chooses the channel with the least interference.
Operating mode of the wireless network of the router. This
parameter defines standards of the devices that will be able to use
your wireless network. Select a value from the drop-down list.
The maximum number of devices connected to the wireless network
of the router. When the value 0 is specified, the device does not limit
the number of connected clients.
