subtitle display
External subtitle files:
This device supports the subtitle file including the formats of srt, sub, smi, idx+sub, ssa and ass. Please change the file
name of subtitle file as the same as the video file and put them in the same folder. This device detects and applies the
subtitle file automatically. If you have multiple formats of subtitle file with the same file name in the same folder, you can
choose it in the subtitle sub-menu which is explained below.
adjust subtitle in the playback:
When playing Movie with external subtitle, press keys to increase or decrease the font size of subtitle. The range of
the font size is from -30 to 30. Press keys adjust the position in the screen up or down.
subtitle sub-menu:
During the playback, press yellow key to open the Subtitle submenu. In the sub-menu, you can configure the detail setting
of subtitle. Press keys to navigate the options below and to change the value.
subtitle number:
If there are multiple subtitles, choose one to display. The external and internal subtitles, like MKV + SRT files can be
chosen in the menu.
Text encoding:
Choose the encoding for the external subtitle files.
Delay:
Decrease or increase the delay of the external subtitle. The negative value means to show subtitle earlier and positive
value means to delay the subtitle. The range is from -2000 to +2000 ms.
Color:
Choose the color for the external subtitle.
size:
Adjust the size of the external subtitle. The range is from -30 to +30.
offset:
Increase the height of the external subtitle. The default is 0 which shows the subtitle in the lowest position of the screen
and bigger value means higher position. The range is from 0 to 650.
* If the options including Text Encoding, Delay, Color, Size and Offset are black and can't be chosen, the video could be
the type without external subtitle like M2TS, ISO, VOB files.
Resume Play
This play supports play resuming function. When the video playback is stopped by the STOP key or POWER key, the
progress will be saved in the player. When you play the same file next time, the confirming window pops up to apply this
function. Select "OK" to replay from the last-time stop, or select "Cancel" to play from the beginning. The video progress
is saved even the electricity is unplugged.
To disable this function, open the menu and navigate to Video page to select the "Resume Play" option, and then turn off
the option.
Playback search
In the Movie playback, press "PLAY" key to open the sub menu. Use the direction key to navigate among "Title", "Chapter"
and "Time". Press "ENTER" key to enter each item and enter new unit, and press "ENTER" key again to jump into the
progress. When configuring the time, use the direction key or the number key in the remote control to enter the value. To
close the sub menu, press "RETURN" key to close it.
Video setup
In video playback press "EDIT" key to open the video-setup submenu to configure the Aspect ratio, Brightness, Contrast,
Hue and Saturation. Use the direction key to select and change value. Press "OK" key to confirm and "RETURN" key to
close the window.
