Administration/Disk Operations/Format Disk
Allows you to format a storage device.
Dsk#0–Dsk#4, Dsk#6, Dsk#7
Dsk#7
Dsk#7 is the internal hard disk. This disk may contain all the printer system code
and, if formatted, cause the printer not to function. Do not format Dsk#7 unless
you are troubleshooting a disk problem. See Chapter 5, "Printer Jams and
Troubleshooting," in the Operations manual for more information.
Refer to chapter 6, "Storage Devices," in the Options manual for complete
information on formatting hard disks.
Administration/Disk Operations/Restore Disk/Dsk#
Allows you to restore a storage device from the backup you made using the
Administration/Disk Operations/Backup Hard Disk menu.
All attached storage devices (Dsk#0–Dsk#4, Dsk#6, Dsk#7)
DSK#7
Dsk#7 is the internal hard disk.

information on restoring hard disks.
