Administration/Startup Options/Do Start Page
Enables or disables the start-up page.
Yes —Print a startup page each time the printer is turned on.
No —Don't print a startup page each time the printer is turned on.
Yes
A startup page lists basic information about the printer, such as its name, the
number of pages printed to date, the PostScript version, and various printer
settings.
You may want to turn the startup page off to conserve paper and toner.
Administration/Startup Options/Do Sys Start
Allows you to enable and disable the Do Sys Start feature.
Yes —Check the hard disk for and execute the SYS\START file when the printer is
turned on.
No —Don't check the hard disk for a SYS\START file.
Yes
Since the SYS\START file is a PostScript file residing on the printer's hard disk, to
use this option the printer must have a hard disk.
Information on creating a SYS\START file is available via the QMS home page
