How to Replace the Hard Disks

Replacement of hard disk drives is available regardless of whether the power of the unit is on or off.
Do the following to replace the hard disks.

Insert the provided key (standard accessory)
into the key hole on the front panel, and then
turn the key clockwise to open the front cover.

Hold down the [USE] button respective to the
hard disk to be replaced for 2 seconds or more.
→ The buzzer will start sounding and the selected
hard disk will be shut down. (The button will start
blinking orange.)
When shutdown of the hard disk is complete, the
blinking will stop and the hard disk is ready to be
removed.
Important:
When the USE button of the hard disk on which record-
ing is currently being performed is pressed, recording
will be continued on the other disk. In this case, some
images to be recorded may not be recorded (for sever-
al seconds to change the disk for recording).
When only the single hard disk is used, recording will
stop.

Remove the hard disk by holding it carefully.

Insert a new hard disk into the emptied bay after
confirming that the insert direction is correct.
