his accessory operates best at 12-18 volts (AC). You may choose to power the accessory with
a separate accessory power supply, through a FasTrack Accessory Power Wire (6-12053), or
through a Lionel Lockon for O gauge track. The accessory is not powered through the rails that
run across this accessory. To make the proper connections, all wires must be stripped back 1/8"
to 1/4".
Only an adult should perform this task. Always use care when stripping wires. Use

a sharp knife or a pair of wire strippers.
To make the spring clip connections on the bottom of the accessory, press down on the top portion of
the spring clip so that a metal loop is exposed. Slide the bare end of the wire into the loop, and then
release pressure on the spring clip.
1. As illustrated in Figure 1, attach one wire to an accessory terminal and connect it directly to
your power supply, a FasTrack track section, or a Lionel Lockon.
To make the FasTrack track connection, purchase a FasTrack Accessory Power Wire

bare end of the FasTrack wires with the wires that are attached to the accessory. Wrap
the connections with electrical tape.

terminal on the switch.
To make this connection, simply loosen the screw, bend the wire around the screw
