- Page 5 LCS component, please skip ahead to the next section titled “Installing additional LCS devices.” When installing a new LCS system, the process you will follow depends on which Lionel Command Base is to be connected to your LCS system. Following sections describe starting a new LCS installation with a Legacy Base.
- Page 6 6. Plug in the LCS wall-pack power supply. Both SensorTrack LEDs should illuminate briefly on power-up. Legacy command base must have software rev 1.60 or higher installed. Note! Note! One or more Lionel LCS SensorTracks are required for operation of the SensorCar.

- Page 10 Programming the SensorCar Programming o program the SensorCar: 1. Slide the PGM/RUN switch on the bottom of the SensorCar to the PGM position. It is required to program the SensorCar with the same ID# as the engine that will be using it.
- Page 11 Programming the SensorCar Manually entering the road name and cab number EGACY engines transmit engine data through the sensor (including road name and cab number). Since the SensorCar is intended for use with engines that do not have the IR sensor, you will need to manually enter the road name and cab number.
- Page 12 Lionel LLC or any Lionel Authorized Service Station MUST be accompanied by the original receipt for purchase (or copy) from an Authorized Lionel Retailer*, will at the discretion of Lionel LLC, be repaired or replaced, without charge for parts or labor. In the event the defective product cannot be repaired, and a suitable replacement is not available, Lionel will offer to replace the product with a comparable model (determined by Lionel LLC), if available.
