MINOR MAINTENANCE TIPS

REMOVAL OF BATTERY ON VEHICLE

T he veh icle is
provided with 12V -
14 AH battery.
Unlock (turn the key
anti clockwise) and
remove the battery
cover.
Remove the battery
holding two rubber
straps gently.
Pull out the battery
an d t urn , th en
disconnect both the
ter m i na l wi r es
(ne gati ve a nd
positive respectively)
Take out the battery.

BATTERY MAINTENANCE

The battery must be
periodically checked
for
C l eanl i ne ss a nd
cor ro si o n f r ee
terminals.
Electr o l yte lev el
m us t be abo ve
"MIN" level.
If electrolyte level
is lo w, r em o ve
caps and top up
with distilled water
only.
Apply petroleum jelly
o v er t he b atter y
ter m i na ls t o av oid
sulphation.
