Cleaning the cleaning unit

Tips – Card cleaning roller
Wash the card cleaning
rollers regularly, such as
every time you change
the ink ribbon.
More frequent cleaning
may be required under
heavy use conditions.
Clean rollers every 200
cards to improve print
quality.
Allow the card cleaning
rollers to dry thoroughly
before reinstalling them in
the printer.
Replace the cleaning unit
annually.

This section provides information on proper care and cleaning of the SR200 &
SR300 printer. It also includes recommendations on how often to clean and
replace components.
The cleaning unit is located inside the printer door and cleans lint and other
debris from the cards before printing. To clean the unit:
Open the printer door.

Pull the cleaning unit out.

Wash the blue cleaning rollers with
water. Rub rollers gently under
running water. Do not use
isopropanol or detergents to clean
the rollers.
Allow the card cleaning rollers to

dry thoroughly.
Reinstall the cleaning unit with the

blue rollers facing to the right.
Close the printer door.

The card load roller is located under the card hopper, and picks cards before
they are printed.

Using a cleaning wipe with

isopropanol, wipe the roller
while pushing it toward the
printer.

Replace the card hopper.
