4. Camera
Sets the touch operations during recording ([Touch Settings])
Applicable modes:
The focus and brightness can be set to the specified subject and position using the

touch screen.

From the Recording screen > [
[Touch AF]
[Touch Shutter]
[Touch AE Lock]
[Touch AF Lock]
[Touch AF/AE Lock]
[OFF]
¢1 This is disabled when Intelligent Auto Mode or Intelligent Auto Plus Mode is selected.
≥ The setting is fixed to [OFF] in the following cases.
– [Miniature Effect]/[One Point Color] (Creative Control Mode)
Assigning frequently-used functions ([Volume button setting])
Applicable modes:
You can assign functions that are used frequently during recording to [ ]/[ ].
From the Recording screen > [
Settings: [Zoom]/[Exposure]/[Sensitivity]/[White Balance]/[OFF]
≥ Functions assigned to [ ]/[ ] may not work, depending on the modes or menu settings being used.
For details on each function, refer to [Zoom] (P79), [Exposure] (P86), [Sensitivity]
(P88).
It is possible to set the focus to the subject specified on the touch screen.
≥ This is not available when [Focus Mode] is set to [MF].
≥ Tap [
] to cancel the setting.
Just by touching the subject you want as your point of focus, the unit will focus on
the subject and take the picture automatically.
≥ Focus adjustment will not be carried out if the [Focus Mode] is [MF].
You can tap to adjust and fix the brightness to suit the specified subject.
≥ This cannot be used when setting the Manual Exposure Mode.

≥ [Metering Mode] changes to the specialized [
≥ Fixing the exposure turns on the [AEL] display.
≥ Tap [
] to cancel the lock.
You can tap to adjust and fix the focus to suit the specified subject.
≥ This is not available when [Focus Mode] is set to [MF].
≥ The focus will be adjusted to the tapped position by [Ø] regardless of the setting

of [AF Mode].
≥ Fixing the focus turns on the [AFL] display.
≥ Tap [
] to cancel the lock.
You can tap to adjust and fix the focus and brightness to suit the specified subject.
≥ AF Lock only is effective when taking pictures in Manual Exposure Mode.
≥ The focus will be adjusted to the tapped position by [Ø] regardless of the setting
of [AF Mode].
